Back to School = Christmas Is Coming

The kids are back in school, which in my brain means one thing:

The holidays are right around the corner!

And I can practically taste the gingerbread cookies. I’m already dreaming of twinkle lights, Christmas music, and staring at my beautiful Christmas tree in all its bedazzled glory.

This is usually the time of year when I start imagining what I want Christmas to feel like. Not the schedule. Not the to-do list. The actual feeling of it.

More laughing. More sitting around the tree. More traditions we actually enjoy. More little moments that make Christmas feel like Christmas.

And a lot less running myself ragged trying to make everything perfect.

So that’s my plan for this holiday season:

More joy. Less stress. No Christmas guilt.

We have plenty of time before December gets here. Hang out here with all your other Christmas-loving people.

For now, I’m just going to enjoy the anticipation and maybe get out the hot chocolate and marshmallows. ❄️
