Q. Why is there no wing nut on the base?

A. The support bar will be held securely in place by the threaded pin on the base and the other wing nut. When placed on a flat surface, the half-moon base and support arm work together to keep your decor stable. For outdoor installation, grounds stakes are recommended to prevent tipping.

Q. Why does the gingerbread decor lean back?

A. The slight backward tilt is intentional and creates a better viewing angle. It helps keep the galvanized steel gingerbread stable for indoor installations where stakes cannot be used.

Q. Why do my accessories look hazy?

A. There is a clear film to protect each accessory from scratches during production and shipping. Gently peel off the protective film before displaying your decor so the finish looks its best. Once the film is removed, the accessories are durable and weather resistant for normal seasonal use.

Q. Do the accessories light up?

A. At this time they do not, but we are looking at ways in the future. For optimal outdoor viewing, we currently recommend highlighting accessories with a landscape spotlight.
